Email Digests and Alerts

In addition to individual notifications, Manager Toolkit sends periodic digest emails and automated alerts to help you stay on top of your management activity without needing to open the app.

Weekly Digest

Each week you receive a summary email covering your recent management activity. This includes catchups logged, actions completed, targets progressed, and a snapshot of team sentiment. The weekly digest is a useful way to reflect on your week and spot anything you may have missed.

The digest is only sent when there has been activity to report. If you had a quiet week with no logged catchups or completed actions, you will not receive one. This keeps your inbox clean and ensures the digest is always relevant when it does arrive.

Daily Deadline Reminders

When actions or targets have deadlines approaching, Manager Toolkit sends a daily reminder email listing items due soon. This ensures important deadlines do not slip by unnoticed, even on busy days when you might not check the app.

The email groups items by urgency, with overdue items highlighted at the top. Each item includes a direct link so you can jump straight to it in the app and take action immediately.

Daily Reminder Notifications

If you have active reminders set in Manager Toolkit, you will receive daily email notifications for reminders that are due or overdue. These complement the in-app reminder indicators and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Reminder emails are sent separately from deadline reminders, so you can control them independently from your notification settings. This is useful if you want deadline alerts but prefer to manage personal reminders within the app itself.

Monthly Summary

At the end of each month, you receive a broader summary of your management activity. This covers trends in catchup frequency, action completion rates, sentiment changes, and other patterns across the month. It is a useful prompt for reflection and planning.

The monthly summary provides a longer-term perspective than the weekly digest, making it easier to spot gradual trends such as a team member's declining sentiment or a pattern of overdue actions building up over time.

Trial Expiry Notices

If you are on a Pro trial, you will receive emails as your trial period approaches its end. These give you time to decide whether to subscribe before the trial expires and features are restricted.

You will typically receive a notice a few days before the trial ends, giving you enough time to review the Pro features you have used and decide whether the subscription is worthwhile. No payment is taken unless you actively choose to upgrade.

Onboarding Emails

When you first sign up, you will receive a short series of onboarding emails. These introduce key features, offer tips for getting started, and help you make the most of the platform during your first few days.

The onboarding series is brief and focused - typically just a handful of emails over your first week. Each one highlights a specific area of the platform with a direct link to try it out. Once the series is complete, you will not receive further onboarding emails.

Use the weekly digest as a quick Friday review. If the summary shows gaps in your catchup schedule or a build-up of overdue actions, you can address them before the following week.
You can control which digest and alert emails you receive from Notification Settings. Transactional emails like billing receipts and security alerts cannot be turned off.
